Founded in 2020 by Daryl Bentfield, Light TN specializes in landscape lighting, architectural lighting, permanent roofline lighting, smart outdoor lighting systems, and outdoor audio. MEET DARYL
Daryl Bentfield is the owner and principal designer of Light TN, with over 25 years of professional design experience including a background in production and visual storytelling before specializing in outdoor lighting. Daryl personally designs every project and works on site with his crew during installation.
He was among the first permanent roofline lighting installers in the Nashville market and has completed over 500 outdoor lighting projects across Middle Tennessee since founding Light TN in 2020.
In 2025, Daryl attended the Sterling Lighting Design Summit in Athens, Greece, and Light TN was named Best Specialty Contractor in Middle Tennessee by Main Street Media. Light TN also absorbed P.M. Lighting Nashville, continuing a 25-year legacy of outdoor lighting service in the region.
